I have a Google Docs text file with the profile import code that I update every time I make big changes just so I can always go back to my last best setup if something goes wrong. Tried getting used to the old school UI but it sure misses a lot of good features that ElvUI uses. I've used this for awhile now but I still miss the default vanilla UI. Comment by BathroomBuddha on T22:28:57-05:00 I keep making backups of the entire WTF folder (where addon's and Client config are stored) from time to time, but you can backup some individualy too, exporting the profiles and stuff. That pretty much serves to almost all important addons. So save your settings just in-case you hit reset. All of your local settings are stored in the 'WTF' folder under the WoW program directory. Ive transferred ElvUI settings between 2 different machines using this method without any issues. When you go to re-install, copy the 2 folders back and youll be golden. So save your settings just in-case you hit reset. Just backup your interface folder and your WTF folder. i accidentally pressed rest on another toon thinking it would only reset that one toon, but i think i hit the one that cleared all my profile in the game. The only suggestion i would give to other is that when you have everything the way you like, then export your profile so that you have it saved somewhere. I have been using this UI for a long time now.

How do you know you like one more than the other if you haven't used ElvUI? This copyright notice shall be included in all copies or substantial portions of. Do not modify the name of this addon, including the addon folders. The only exception being you may upload to the or github website. ElvUI has such a futuristic look, it's not meant for me. You may make modifications to this addon for private use only, you may not publicize any portion of this addon. It still keeps the fantasy and immersion in-place, while also making a great UI. On first glance I mistook it with classic (patch 1.12) and version just sounds better/more correct for an addon/programm than patch. I think it should be called "Version 11.12+" instead of "Patch 11.12+". I reinstalled WoW earlier (in an attempt fix the gfx crashes/fps drops when chanings gfx settings, which didn’t help, but I seem to have that mostly resolved now), but since then I’ve deleted the WTF folder and disabled my addons, to no. Every time I reload my UI/logout/whatever the CVar reverts from 1 to 0.8. I've tried other ones like Bartender and honestly ElvUI has been my favorite and haven't looked back. The CVar I’ve been trying to change is nameplateMinScale. There are many alternative add-ons such as Tukui, but ElvUI focuses on creating menus and displays that are easy to navigate with features not included in the standard game.Comment by DarkLordMagus on T19:45:59-05:00
